The MDD093B-N-020-N2L-110PA1 is a synchronous servo motor in Bosch Rexroth’s MDD series. It has a high power density that allows its use in dynamic applications like tool-changing devices, roller feeds for punching, pressing and nibbling machines. Operating the motor maintenance-free is possible because its bearings remain lubricated throughout their service life. These bearings have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. Electronic commutation is a feature of the MDD model that supports its use in continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive frequencies, as it gives the motor a high cyclic load capacity. It is also equipped with a blocking brake of 11.0Nm to hold the servo axes at a standstill when the machine is not powered on. This protects users and prevents energy wastage.

Because it uses the optical measurement principle, the digital servo feedback in the MDD093B-N-020-N2L-110PA1 functions with high-level precision.
