Its low inertia is the result of the use of rare earth materials in the construction of the permanent magnets of its rotor. This rotor has a moment of inertia of 22 x 10^-4 kgm². The servo motor is also ideal for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates due to electronic commutation. It gives the motor the high cyclic load capacity required for such operations, reducing the risk of failure due to fatigue. Enclosed in an IP-65-rated housing, this MDD model can be used directly within the working area of the machine, even under poor environmental conditions.
