Bosch Rexroth is the manufacturer of the efficient and future-proof synchronous servo motors of the MDD series. The motors have a brushless design and high overload capabilities. Drives with these AC servo motors are typically used in textile machines, robotics, and machine tools.

The MDD093A-N-060-N2M-110GA1 is an MDD model suited for highly dynamic operations due to its favorable torque-inertia ratio. Its low inertia is the result of the use of rare earth materials in the construction of the permanent magnets of its rotor. This rotor has a moment of inertia of 22 x 10-4 kgm2. The servo motor is also ideal for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates due to electronic commutation. It gives the motor the high cyclic load capacity required for such operations, reducing the risk of failure due to fatigue. Enclosed in an IP-65-rated housing, this MDD model can be used directly within the working area of the machine, even under poor environmental conditions. Its power and feedback cables are also designed to meet the standards of this protection class per DIN 40 050.
