The Bosch MDD090C-N-040-N2L-110PB2 is a MDD series servo motor. Its nominal speed rating is 4000 RPM. The motor comes in a housing with a standard design that belongs to the IP65 protection category. As the motor is dustproof and safe from water ingress, it can be used under adverse operating conditions. The motor housing is sealed and the cable connectors on the motor are also sealed. The motor has a shaft with a keyway. The keyway helps to prevent relative motion between the shaft and the connected machine. As a result, the motor torque is effectively transferred to the machine. MDD090 series motors are especially well suited to applications that require a high degree of synchronism. The MDD090C-N-040-N2L-110PB2 motor is suited to natural convection and surface cooling. Surface cooling requires use of a cooling fan or blower. The working temperature range for the MDD090C-N-040-N2L-110PB2 motor is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius.  The centering diameter of the motor is 110 millimeters. Only accessories approved by Bosch should be used with the motor. Only trained personnel should work on the motor.
