MAC series motors have a brushless design and support electronic commutation. Lack of brushes reduces maintenance requirements as well as sparks that are common in brushed design. The motor bearings are lubricated for the complete operating life of the motor. MAC motors have IP65 rated housings. Furthermore, the power and feedback cable connections comply with IP65 requirements. As a result, MAC motors are maintenance free and can be used in a wide range of operating environments.
