Product Description:

The MAC160C-0-ED-2-C/250-R-1 has a certain ambient condition in which it performs its best. This servo motor is built in such a way that it follows the instructions of standard IEC 721-3-3, the 1987 edition, or EN 60721-3-3 the 6/94 edition. According to this standard, this motor can be operated in a stationary position under weather-controlled conditions. The first position is the longitudinal axis of the motor as per class 3M1 of the standard. Whereas, as per the class 3M6, it can also be operated in the lateral axis of the motor.

Multiple environmental variables of vibration have different impacts on the motor. The sinusoidal oscillations on a motor of excursion amplitude can be a maximum of 0.3 mm for the longitudinal axis. Its frequency can range from 2 to 9 Hz. The acceleration amplitude on this same axis can be 1 m/s2 with frequency ranging from 9 to 200 Hz. But for the lateral axis, the excursion amplitude can be 7 mm at the frequency range of 2 to 9 Hz. The acceleration amplitude for this lateral axis can be up to 20 m/s2 with the same frequency range of 9 to 200 Hz.

Both of these positional axes of the motor also behave differently under the shocks produced in the environment. The total shock response spectrum for the longitudinal axis follows the type L as per the IEC 721-1 standard. The reference acceleration for this standard is 40 m/s2. The duration of the acceleration is 22 ms. For the lateral axis, it follows Type II of the IEC 721-1 standard for the total shock response spectrum. For this, the reference acceleration can be 250 m/s2. The maximum duration of this acceleration can be 6 ms.
