The MAC117B-0-KS-2-C/130-A-0 is an extremely strong and compact synchronous motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat according to the American and International quality and safety standards. This strong servo motor can support the operation of some of the most demanding industrial and commercial machines, despite its compact size it is designed to generate a very high torque output while maintaining a low operation inertia. The servo motor is protected from any type of external interference by its reinforced housing unit. The selection of the drive controller used with this servo motor is the responsibility of the user, however Rexroth indramat recommended the use of either the TDM, KDS or the DSC drive controller series. This motor does not require any integrated encoder. The motor has a high resolution servo feedback that accurately determines the current operation condition of the motor and provides this information to the drive controller through the feedback cable. The tacho feedback is of a standard type.
The motor should be protected from overheating at all times. Although it already dissipates excess heat via natural convection, special care should be taken to keep the ambient temperature around the motor between 0 to about 45 degree Celsius when the motor is in operation. The motor can however to kept at an ambient temperature as high as 80 degree Celsius when during transportation, and storage.
The MAC117B-0-KS-2-C/130-A-0 servo motor does not contain any holding brake. It has a strong output shaft that can support a high radial load, and can be directly connected to pinons and belt pullies of industrial machines. Life-time lubricated ball bearings are installed into the motor rotor to absorb some of the load connected to the motor?s shaft.
