Part of the MAC AC servo motors that are compatible with TDM, KDS, and DSC drive controllers, the MAC114C-0-MD-4-C/130-B-1/WI558BX/S007 AC servo motor is a 6000 rpm servo that offers a torque of up to 35 Nm under nominal conditions. This servo motor is designed to be used in machine tools, textile machines, printing presses, packaging machinery, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities, making it a very versatile piece of industrial equipment. The motor has a current rating of 23 Amperes and can provide a locked rotor torque rating of 37 Nm.
This motor comes with a WI558BX configuration of an incremental encoder. This single-turn incremental encoder has a resolution of 625 pulses for one single rotation. With a high resolution for the encoder, this servo motor is perfect for low torque robotics applications, especially operating a low torque ratio gear box system. The motor does not come with a blower fan to help keep its temperature down, however, it does support a natural convection cooling method that uses the ambient air to cool itself with the help of its large aluminum body. Since it relies on natural convection cooling, it is recommended by the user to install the motor in a cool environment with a temperature preferably between 0 to 45 degrees Celsius.
The motor comes with an S007 special feature configuration that allows it to have a balanced, smooth output shaft and a shaft seal ring that helps prevent the lubrication oil from spilling outside the stator's cage. The motor comes with an IP 65 protection rating to help provide protection against dust and moisture, keeping the motor protected in extreme industrial environments.
