Product Description:
The MAC114C-0-MD-4-C/130-B-1/WI522LV/S023 is a high-speed AC servo motor that operates on 240 to 480 volts AC with a 3-phase input configuration. The input voltage of this motor should have an input frequency between 50 to 60 Hz for the motor to function perfectly. Users can also attach an EMC filter in order to enhance the performance of this servo motor. The motor offers a speed of 6000 rotations per minute while providing a rotation torque of 30 Nm.
This motor along with an incremental encoder of resolution 625 pulses per rotation comes with a tacho feedback system. The tacho feedback system helps regulate the speed of the motor by generating a tacho voltage of 3 volts for every 1000 rotations per minute of speed. This feedback signal is then sent to a compatible servo motor controller, which then generates a control signal in order to get the speed of the motor close to the motor speed setpoint placed by the operator. With the help of a holding brake of 45 Nm, the MAC114C-0-MD-4-C/130-B-1/WI522LV/S023 can also be used in high-precision robotics applications since the brake can lock the shaft in a position when needed and prevent it from spinning.
The motor is designed to be industrial grade thanks to its IP 65 protection rating as well as class F insulation against fires that would reach a temperature of 170 degrees Celsius. The motor comes with a black prime paint which provides protection for the aluminium body preventing it from rusting or oxidizing. The manufacturer recommends installing the motor at a maximum height of 1000 meters above the sea level for rated operating conditions.
