The MAC114C-0-MD-4-C/130-A-1/WI589LV is a variant of MAC permanent magnet motor manufactured by Rexroth, Indramat, Bosch. This motor uses permanent magnets to generate a constant magnetic field and create torque. This variant comes with the holding brakes and the holding brakes are of standard size. It is equipped with an incremental encoder with standard mounting. The centering diameter is compatible with B05 and B14 design, whereas the power connection is through a connector at side A.
The manufacturer offers two variants of motor power connectors that are crimping or soldering. The tacho type is standard and helps to detect and evaluate both rotor position and velocity. Bosch Rexroth recommends to store the motor in a dry, and moisture free area with the permissible ambient temperature range from -25 degrees C to + 85 degrees C. The motor protection is increased with housing paint of black prime coat.
For excessive protection, an additional layer of paint can be implemented over black paint. Keep in mind, that the thickness of the layer must not exceed 40 mm. Black primal paint is coded as RAL 9005 and it is resistant to weathering, yellowing, and chalky build-ups as well as diluted acids and lyes. The permissible ambient temperature ranges from 0 C to 45 C, whereas the maximum installation elevation is 1000 meter above sea level. There are multiple classes of insulation based on electrical, or thermal, and these classes fundamentally differ on the maximum temperature limit for the insulation. The seven classes are A, E, B, F, H,Y and C, and this specific motor come with class F insulation that can withstand 155 C temperature. For comprehensive protection, the motor is protected under IP 65 category.
