Product Description:

The MAC114A-0-ED-4-C/130-B-0/WI634LX/S007 is a closed-loop AC servo motor manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The closed-loop system makes it suitable for applications requiring high accuracy and precision. It features a built-in encoder that interacts constantly with the controller and makes necessary modifications to make sure the required position is achieved. AC servo motor bearings are permanently lubricated and require no additional maintenance. The housing of the MAC servo motor is enclosed, which protects the components of the motor from dust or contamination and restricts free airflow.

A highly favourable ratio of torque and inertia allows the motor to accelerate with maximum efficiency. Motors use thermos switches to detect temperature changes. If the motor's temperature reaches above the limit, the closed thermo switch opens and shuts down the motor to send the alert signal. The motor has an ED-type winding, a dimension of 114 A, and a natural convectional cooling mechanism. The motor's unique winding ensures that it runs at its nominal speed of 3000 rpm. The motor feedback system is advanced as it has an incremental encoder and a tacho generator.

The incremental encoder is easy to use, as only a few sensors are incorporated, and it offers excellent speed feedback. The 634LX incremental encoder requires a supply voltage of 10 to 16 volts. It produces 400 pulses per revolution of the motor. The reference point can be altered mechanically due to the integration of an incremental encoder and a convectional cooling mechanism. This feature is not available for the motor that contains absolute encoders. The spigot nuts must be properly screwed on connectors to avoid vibration and damage to internal motor components.
