The MAC112D-1-HD-3-C/130-A-0/S005 is a permanent magnet-excited servo motor in the MAC series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is enclosed in a housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to DIN 40 050. This means it is touch-proof, dustproof, and safe from the penetration of water jets from different directions. Hence, its operation within the working area of the machine does not pose any risks, even under poor environmental conditions. The power and tachofeedback cables of this MAC model also have this protection rating. Thanks to the motor’s brushless design, its operational reliability is enhanced since fewer parts are prone to wear and tear. This also aids the servo motor’s maintenance-free operation.
Bosch Rexroth designed the MAC112D-1-HD-3-C/130-A-0/S005 with a special stator design and high-resolution tachofeedback; hence, it has excellent running qualities. It is also fitted with tachofeedback and second shaft end for detecting the rotor’s position and evaluating its velocity. This motor feedback type allows the addition of other components, and its second shaft end is IP 65-rated. Like other MAC servo motors, this model’s housing is covered with a black prime coat that protects it from yellowing, chalky buildup, weathering, dilute acids, and lyes. It reaches a nominal speed of 1,500 revolutions per minute and accommodates a maximum pulse current of 195A.
