The MAC112D-0-HD-4-C/180-A-2/WI534LX/S029 is a permanent magnet-excited servo motor designed by Bosch Rexroth in its MAC series. It has a rotor with a moment of inertia of 230 x 10-4 kgm2 and whose permanent magnets are composed of special materials that grant the motor a low inertia. This motor reaches a nominal speed of 1,500 revolutions per minute and accommodates a maximum peak current of 195A. It is equipped with tachofeedback and a mounted incremental or absolute encoder for speed control and position evaluation. This encoder is highly resistant to harsh environmental conditions. Another feature of the motor that supports its operation under such conditions is its sealed enclosure that meets the IP 65 standard per DIN 40 050. The housing is painted with a black prime coat, which is largely unaffected by chalky buildup, weathering and yellowing.
