MAC112D-0-HD-4-C/130-A-2/WA604XX/S013 is an AC servo motor with 1500 RPM nominal speed rating. It is designed by Bosch Rexroth and is part of the MAC product line. MAC AC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited motors with electronic commutation. The permanent magnets of the rotor are made of materials which make it possible to construct motors with very low inertia. Low inertia is a desirable characteristic for servo motors in many applications because it allows for faster and more precise motion control. When a motor has low inertia, it is easier to accelerate and decelerate quickly, which results in faster response times and more precise positioning. For speed evaluation per tacho-generator and rotor position recognition, MAC motors are equipped with a tachofeedback especially developed for this series. It is always integrated into the motor.
For position evaluation on the motor, the motor can also be equipped with an incremental encoder or an absolute encoder.
