MAC112D-0-ED-3-C/180-A-2/S019 is a servo motor. It is designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The motor supports tacho feedback for speed and position evaluation. Operators can also order an optional mounted encoder for position evaluation. Standard features available on MAC motors include an IP65 rated housing, electronic commutation, temperature monitoring of the motor windings, life-time lubricated bearings, IP65 rated power and feedback connections, and a flange for mounting. Optional features are also available. The MAC112D-0-ED-3-C/180-A-2/S019 is equipped with a number of optional features, including a heavy duty blocking brake, special centering diameter of 180 millimeters, and shaft with keyway. The blocking brake is a safety device designed to prevent shaft rotation. The brake clamps down onto the motor shaft and only releases it after application of a 24 Volts DC signal.
