The MAC112D-0-ED-2-F/130-B-0/S097 is a rapid-response AC servo motor for analogue drives (TDM, KDS, and DSC). Rexroth Indramat manufactures this motor and it is suitable for applications like textile machines, machine tools, robotics, etc. The MAC servo motor is highly reliable due to its brushless design and lifetime lubricated bearings. The motor is operated by a drive controller, and it takes power (3-phase AC) through its B-side power connector from the A1, A2, and A3 terminals. The MAC112D model can deliver a constant torque of 0.760 Nm/A at 20 degree Celsius.
The MAC servo motor comes in a compact design (B05 and B14) and can be mounted into any orientation due to its flange design with through holes. The motor has 'ED' winding types, which means that it is suitable for standard applications and can operate at the nominal speed of 3000 min-1. The winding inductance of this motor is 1.8 mH with 0.110 Ohm winding resistance at 20-degree Celsius. This AC servo drive can generate a continuous torque of 38 Nm while operating at 56 A of constant current at a standstill position. It can handle extreme loads, which makes it a suitable choice for various industrial automation tasks.
Due to its surface-cooling nature, the motor dissipates excessive heat to the surroundings to maintain its ambient temperature. Several thermo switches are also installed for continuous temperature monitoring. The thermal time constant for this Indramat AC servo motor is 120 minutes, and it is recommended to operate it under the ambient temperature range of 0 to 45 degree Celsius. The motor housing is coated with a prime black coat and is protected against an IP65 protection rating. An increased smooth run quality tacho feedback is used in this model, which assists in detecting both rotor position and velocity.
