Product Description:

Rexroth Bosch's MAC112C-1-HD-4-C/130-A-0/DI524LV is an electric motor that has a significant difference between the speed of the rotor and the frequency of the stator's electromagnetic field. As opposed to synchronous motors, they utilize the principle of electromagnetic induction for the production of torque; so they are simpler and economical. These motors are popular in industries as they are known for their high efficiency, power endurance and stability in their operation. To improve the performance of the asynchronous motors in operational conditions, the MAC112C motor has several significant features.

One of the significant features is the incremental encoder with shock-damped mounting denoted by DI. It is an important feature that enables the detection of the position and speed of the motor. Incremental encoders produce pulses as the shaft of the motor rotates, by converting actual motion into electrical signals which are then transferred to the control system. The mechanical shock-proof feature is used for installation to effectively exclude mechanical vibration and shocks from influencing the motor and improve readiness to protect the encoder. This feature is useful for improving the motor's stability in conditions when there are many mechanical interferences.

Some of the uses of asynchronous motors include conveyors, pumps, and fans, for industrial machines and compressors. Due to their high starting torque and variable speed, they are useful in applications that require reliable performance. These motors are used in conjunction with accurate feedback systems such as the incremental encoders, to deliver fine levels of resolution and control. Therefore, this asynchronous motor along with an incremental encoder provides improved reliability and efficiency in various industrial applications. This makes them simple while modern improvements make it efficient to become an ideal motor for manufacturing equipment.
