The low inertia feature allows the motor to adjust its speed quickly without the need for taking a lot of time, providing a quick response time. This motor comes with both a tacho feedback system for speed regulation as well as an encoder attached to the rear of the motor to precisely position the motor shaft. The tacho feedback voltage system on this motor has a tacho voltage of 3 volts for every 1000 rpm of speed this motor attains, allowing the motor controller to calculate the current speed of the motor and to generate an appropriate control signal in order to adjust the speed of the motor, keeping it close to the Setpoint value of the speed control system.
