This motor has a low rotor inertia of 3.6×10^-4 kgm², allowing it to rapidly regulate its speed by accelerating and decelerating with a quick response rate.
The WA610 encoder on this motor requires 10 volts DC to 16 volts DC to operate and is an absolute encoder that provides a word byte for every possible position of the shaft. The encoder generates positive square wave pulses when the motor rotates in the clockwise direction, while in the counterclockwise direction, the amplitude of the encoder output is inverted. This design enables the motor controller to differentiate between rotation directions. To prevent the shaft from spinning beyond the required position or to keep it locked when a heavy load is attached, the MAC112C-1-ED-4-C/130-A-2/WA610XX/S013 comes with a heavy-duty brake with a holding torque of 60 Nm. The brake operates on 24 volts DC and requires a current of 1.35 Amperes.
