Product Description:
The MAC112C-1-ED-4-C/130-A-1/WI531LX/S005 is a 24 Nm AC servo motor from Rexroth, part of Bosch Electric. This motor comes with the S005 special option configuration, which is the keyway design per the DIN 6885 German standard, designed specifically for high-speed torque transmission. It allows the coupled component to be securely connected with the shaft of the motor, preventing it from slipping or moving during high-speed or high-torque applications.
To help with the accurate positioning and tracking of the shaft, the MAC112C-1-ED-4-C/130-A-1/WI531LX/S005 comes with the Wi531LX incremental encoder that has a resolution of 2048 increments per rotation. This encoder generates pulses of square wave whenever an increment is detected and generates a 5 volts pulse as a feedback signal. This motor also offers the tacho feedback system that helps track the speed of the motor with the help of 3 volts signals whenever the motor attains 1000 rpm in speed. This system allows the MAC112C-1-ED-4-C/130-A-1/WI531LX/S005 to regulate its speed, keeping it close to the Setpoint value of the motor speed control system.
To help keep the shaft fixed in a position or to stop the motor suddenly, the MAC112C-1-ED-4-C/130-A-1/WI531LX/S005 comes with a holding brake with a holding torque of 45 Nm. This brake has a moment of inertia of 3.6 x 10^-4 kgm² that allows it to provide a rapid response with a clamping delay of 30 ms, while the release delay of this holding brake is 70 ms. This motor must be lubricated after every 20,000 cycles of use to help prolong its life, and replacement and maintenance activities should take place after 30,000 cycles of use.
