Product Description:
Designed to provide a standstill torque of 24 Nm, the MAC112C-1-ED-3-C/130-A-1/S005 is a servo motor that is designed to operate on 168 to 480 volts AC and requires a 3-phase input connection along with an input frequency of 50 Hz to 60 Hz. This motor has a nominal speed rating of 3000 rpm and consumes around 24 Amperes of current when operating in standstill mode, making this motor perfect for low-level robotics applications.
To keep the speed regulated and on the required Setpoint, the MAC112C-1-ED-3-C/130-A-1/S005 comes with a tacho feedback speed regulation system. This tacho feedback system generates a 3 volts signal whenever the motor attains a speed of 1000 rpm, which helps the motor controller calculate the current speed of the motor and then compare it with the required speed, adjusting the motor speed accordingly. To keep the shaft locked in one position when using the motor for precision-critical applications or to prevent the shaft from slipping from its current position, the MAC112C-1-ED-3-C/130-A-1/S005 comes with a holding brake system. This holding brake has a holding torque of 45 Nm, requires 14 volts DC to operate, and draws 0.75 Amperes of current.
To keep the shaft perfectly aligned with the motor radial dial, the MAC112C-1-ED-3-C/130-A-1/S005 comes with a centering diameter of 130 mm keeping the shaft perfectly centered to help reduce vibrations in the motor when rotating at high speeds and to reduce stress on the shaft, keeping it from breaking or bending during heavy load rotations. The shaft of this motor is also perfectly balanced to further help reduce vibration in the motor when running at high speeds.
