Rexroth Bosch's MAC112C-0-KD-4-C/130-B-1/WA610XX has a side power connection denoted by A. The A-side connection helps in establishing a direct link between the supply voltage and the motor windings, thus helping to achieve compact construction. This connection offers a safe path for electric current to pass; it enhances motor performance while minimizing any interference of other parts. A-side connections have lower electrical interference and provide easy access for maintenance and inspections, therefore suitable for industrial use.
This MAC motor incorporates a standard blocking brake with a torque of 45 Nm. This brake is applied in conditions where the motor is required to stay at a fixed position even when the power supply is switched off. This type of blocking brake disengages the power supply to the motor to offer the fixed position of the load. It has a maximum of 45 Nm torque and can withstand moderate loads; thus it is suitable for uses such as in-line automation, packaging and conveying equipment.
