Designed to enhance the industrial automation control process, the MAC112C-0-KD-1-X/130-A-1 from Rexroth Bosch Electric is an AC servo motor that has an Asynchronous design. In the Asynchronous design, the motor rotor and the stator both run at different speeds hence the name Asynchronous. This particular motor comes with 3 poles attached to the stator to induce magnetic fields in order to rotate the rotor of the motor, which can attain a rated speed of 1500 rpm while at maximum, the speed can go all the way up to 6000 rpm.
This motor has size 112 mm and frame length C and only weighs 43 kg allowing the motor to easily fit in tight confined spaces as well as be easy to move around and install. The MAC112C-0-KD-1-X/130-A-1 servo motor can be mounted using the flange mounting option or it can be attached using a foot mount on a stable surface. The motor has a standstill torque rating of 28 Nm and requires a current of 41 Amperes in order to rotate the load or to keep the shaft fixed in the locked rotor configuration.
To prevent the shaft from slipping or to keep the rotor locked, the MAC112C-0-KD-1-X/130-A-1 comes with a 45 Nm blocking brake that, using the control signals from the motor controller, can prevent the shaft from spinning even if the motor loses power. To keep the motor protected in harsh industrial environments, the MAC112C-0-KD-1-X/130-A-1 comes with an IP 65 protection rating to help keep the motor secured against dust and moisture at low levels. This motor also comes with a shaft seal ring to prevent anything inside the motor from spilling out.
