Product Description:
The MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/180-B-1/WA612XX/S003 is a 2000 rpm AC Asynchronous servo motor that comes with an absolute encoder and an S003 configuration special option that allows the motor to have a centering diameter of 180 mm. This motor has a standstill torque rating of 27 Nm while consuming 41 Amperes of current. These motors are designed to be low inertia with a rotor inertia rating of 170 x 10^-4 kgm² which not only is low as the lower the value, the better the ability of a motor to quickly adjust its speed.
To keep the motor cool under extremely hot temperatures since the motor generates a lot of heat during high power operation, the MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/180-B-1/WA612XX/S003 uses the self-cooling option which relies heavily on the ambient air temperature and the recommended room temperature for this motor where it is installed should be between 0 to 40°C along with the humidity between 10 to 90%. To keep the motor protected from harsh environmental factors, this servo motor comes with an IP 65 protection rating to provide protection against dust and low-level water pressure.
This motor configuration comes with a holding brake that provides a holding torque of 45 Nm and requires 14 volts DC in order to operate. The brake draws around 0.75 Amperes of current from the supply and has a release delay of 70 ms while it takes only 30 ms for the holding brake to clamp the shaft of the motor in order to keep it locked in a specific position or to prevent the shaft from losing its last known position in the case of power loss.
