The Rexroth Bosch's MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-A-1/WA605XX is an asynchronous motor that works through the creation of a magnetic field on the rotor with the help of a rotating stator's electromagnetic field. These MAC motors are very reliable and require little or no maintenance. Due to their simplicity in handling AC, particularly under continuous loads, they are widely used in industries.

The standard blocking brake having a 45 Nm rating improves the holding accuracy of the motor. This brake prevents the motor from running independently and prevents any accidental movement. It is important for applications in robotics, machine tools, and elevators where positioning at exact points is vital. The blocking brake provides additional safety and feedback, thus making the motor suitable for use in holding and braking applications. A tachofeedback system with incremental or absolute encoders is used for the motor's accuracy. Relative movement information is offered by the incremental encoders, and shaft position information is offered by the absolute encoders.
