MAC112C-0-ED-3-C/180-A-2/S029 is a MAC series servo motor from Bosch Rexroth. The motor is designed with special features including 180 millimeters centering diameter, shaft with keyway and a heavy duty holding brake. Specifications of the holding brake include 60 Nm holding torque, 24 Volts DC nominal voltage, 1.35 Amps nominal current, 150 milliseconds release delay, 30 milliseconds clamping delay and 3.5 kilogram weight. The shaft with keyway is DIN 6885-1 compliant. This brake is a safety device and works according to the electrical release principle. It clamps onto the shaft, and only allows it to rotate after receiving the DC release signal from the motor controller. In addition to controlling motor speed and position, the controller supplies electrical power for the motor. The motor power connection is on side A of the housing.
