Product Description:
Designed for low torque applications, the MAC112B-1-LD-2-C/180-A-0/S012 is a 2000 rpm AC Servo motor that comes with a standard type tacho feedback system for tracking and regulating the servo motor speed. This motor can be used as a spindle motor, in yarn-spinning textile machines used in the textile manufacturing sector, and is also perfect for the packaging industry thanks to its high-speed shaft rotation. The motor does not feature a position encoder.
This motor is designed with harsh industrial conditions in mind as it can withstand temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius. It can be operated in dusty environments, either with dust particles of up to 2mm or water jets of low pressure, to keep the motor well protected. To help cool the motor quickly, the Rexroth MAC112B-1-LD-2-C/180-A-0/S012 comes with a blower fan that requires 230 volts AC to operate. It takes in air from the rear of the motor and pushes it out the front, creating an air channel that allows the motor coil to cool down on the go.
This motor has a low rotor inertia of 0.0012 kgm^2 which is perfect as it will take less time for the motor to accelerate or decelerate its speed, allowing the motor to change and regulate its speed based on the application and power requirement. The motor requires 240 volts AC nominal to operate along with a current of 17.5 Amperes under normal conditions, hence a power supply unit sufficient and efficient enough to supply such power is highly recommended.
