For drilling and routing applications, the Rexroth MAC112B-1-LD-2-C/130-B-0/S035 is perfect since it can generate a speed of 2000 rotations per minute under normal duty load without heating up. This motor comes with a 230 volts AC blower fan that helps regulate air inside the motor helping the coil cool down at a much quicker pace. The Thermal time constant of this motor is 90 minutes, which is the time it takes for the motor to reach 36% of the motor's recommended average temperature. This motor has a temperature range between 0 to 45 degrees Celsius.
To keep the motor safe from electrical noise, the MAC112B-1-LD-2-C/130-B-0/S035 provides an open connection for EMC capacitors to remove unwanted noise and harmonics from the motor's voltages to keep the motor running smoothly. This motor comes with 3 poles or coils that are used to excite the rotor of the motor to help spin it. These coils can be excited with voltages of varying frequencies to help regulate the speed of the motor. For speed regulation, this AC servo motor comes with a tacho feedback system which sends a control signal of 3 volts for every 1000 rpm of speed achieved by the motor to the compatible motor control module.
This motor has a size of 112 mm and a frame of B. The motor weighs only 36 kg making the MAC112B one of the lightest motors in the entire MAC series of Servo motors, perfect for installing at high altitude places as it's much easier to handle thanks to its weight. The motor is designed to only be mounted at a maximum of 1000 meters above sea level for perfect operating conditions.
