To operate high torque gearboxes present inside heavy industrial machinery, such as industrial robots, packaging machines, conveyors, etc., the MAC112B-0-GS-2-C/130-A-0 is a perfect motor for such tasks. This motor has a rotational speed of 3000 rotations per minute which is also its standard speed, but with the use of high-speed bearings, this motor is capable of achieving a maximum speed of 7000 rotations per minute. The motor shaft has a balanced design which allows this motor to transmit torque easily without breaking or bending.
To control the speed of the motor, the MAC112B-0-GS-2-C/130-A-0 uses the tacho feedback system which helps it regulate its speed around a setpoint. It does this by measuring the tacho feedback voltage, and for this particular model, it's 3 volts per 1000 rotations every minute. This tacho feedback voltage signal allows the compatible motor controller to adjust the speed of the motor. This motor is compatible with the TDM, KDS, and DSC drive controllers.
This motor is made using anodized aluminum to help prolong the life of the motor by protecting it from corrosion. The motor also comes with an IP 65 rating protecting it from dust and water. The motor also has a class F insulation protection against class F fires with a fire temperature of up to 175 degrees Celsius. It is recommended to install this motor in an environment with an ambient temperature between 0 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius to prevent it from overheating as it relies on natural convection hence a room or enclosure with proper ventilation is very necessary for smooth operation. It has a Thermal Time constant of 90 minutes.
