Product Description:
The MAC112A-1-ZD-4-C/130-A-1/DI520LV/S005 AC servo motor from Rexroth is a 1500 rotations per minute motor with a 5-volt incremental encoder that has a line count of 1,250. The line count in this encoder indicates the number of pulses that can fit in the 1,250 width of the square wave pulses. Each square wave pulse has an amplitude of 5 volts which is produced when a step or an increment is counted by the encoder and the controller module of the motor.
This motor can be attached to machines using flange mounting which is the most stable mounting method, helping to reduce the vibration by keeping the centering diameter stable and preventing breaks and bends in the shaft. The motor has a centering diameter of 130 mm and a frame size of A with a length of 112 mm making it compact. This motor is 25 kg in weight making it heavy duty. Users are recommended to either use a pully system when lifting the motor this heavy or use a forklift to move the motor around to prevent damaging the motor and harming the environment.
The S005 configuration special option of this motor is the inclusion of the keyway design which uses a shaft key to lock the motor shaft onto a coupler by wedging the metal shaft key in a small locking slot so that the shaft does not slip or break loose from the coupling during high-speed operation. The shaft keyway design is great for torque transmission applications such as gearboxes and conveyor belt systems. According to the manufacturer's recommendation, it is advised to lubricate the motor bearings after every 20,000 cycles.
