Product Description:
Part of the MAC series of AC servo motors, the MAC093C-1-FS-3-F/110-B-0/S005 from Rexroth is a high-speed medium torque motor. This AC motor is designed to be used in textile machinery, spindles, drilling, CNC, lathing, etc. This particular MAC093C configuration has a high speed of 3000 rpm which makes it great for drilling applications. This motor is also great for torque transfer as it can generate a maximum torque of 19.5 Nm when in a locked position, which is great for high precision applications such as robotics and parts placement applications.
The MAC093C-1-FS-3-F/110-B-0/S005 features a cooling axial fan to help cool down its windings during operation. The axial fan itself requires 230 Volts AC to operate and has a separate connector present on Side B of the motor, which is the rear end for easy and clean wiring. This motor has a temperature rating of 0 degrees Celsius and 45 degrees Celsius and has a thermal class of class F, which helps it survive class F fire of temperature 170 degrees Celsius maximum. The motor is also IP 65 protected to help keep the internals sealed and protected from dust and water particles.
The motor does feature a special option of keyway design as per the DIN 6885 standard. This keyway design is used to connect machine assemblies to a shaft to prevent relative rotation between the two parts and keep them firm so that torque transmission between the motor and the attached assembly happens smoothly without causing any friction or imbalance. This motor also features a second shaft for attaching an encoder on the back to help move the primary shaft accurately.
