The MAC093C-0-KS-2-C/130-A-1/S012 from Rexroth Indramat is a MAC093C AC servo motor designed for heavy torque industrial applications. This motor can provide a torque rating of 19.5 Nm when in a locked position, which is great for controlling robotic arms in an industrial setup. The robot links require high torque motors to move accurately without losing their position, decreasing the accuracy of the arm movement to the required place.
Talking about the accuracy of the MAC093C-0-KS-2-C/130-A-1/S012, this motor features a tacho feedback system that allows this motor to accurately regulate its speed up to 2000 rotations per minute. The tacho feedback system relies on a feedback voltage of 3 volts for every 1000 rotations per minute achieved. When this signal is sent to the controller of the motor, it tries to regulate the motor's speed based on the set point entered by the user on its control system. These servo motors are designed to be used in conjunction with TDM, KDS, and DSC drive controllers allowing it to provide rapid response feedback.
To prevent the shaft from moving unexpectedly, the MAC093C-0-KS-2-C/130-A-1/S012 features a 6.5 Nm blocking brake which can also work when the motor loses power suddenly to help prevent the shaft from moving from its accurate position. This brake also acts as a safety precaution to help prevent the load connected to the shaft of the motor from moving, causing accidents or damage to the equipment itself. To power this standard blocking brake, a 24-volt DC supply is required, which can be provided with the power cord of the servo motor attached to the top side of the servo motors.
