Rexroth Indramat's MAC093B-0-JS-4-C/130-A-3/WA612XX is specially designed for use in industrial automation applications. The two fundamental components of an AC motor are the rotor or rotating inner section connected to the motor's shaft, and the stator, which is a stationary or fixed outside drum. When compared to traditional asynchronous motors, EC motors have a clear advantage because they can attain higher efficiency levels than their AC counterparts. The electronics manage the stator, so no electricity is wasted.
The MAC093B-0-JS-4-C/130-A-3/WA612XX motor has a 093 length, convection cooling mechanism and B size. This AC motor specifies the alternating current direction with the use of an alternator, which is a specific form of electrical generator. Typically EMF is produced in a generator (alternator) when power is applied to a spinning shaft or rotor. The JS-type winding and feedback system produce the nominal torque. To prevent excessive damage, AC servo motors have safety measures such as heat or thermal protection (convection cooling) and current limitations.
