MAC093B-0-JS-3-C/130-A-0 is an industrial servo motor. It consists of a motor coupled to a tacho generator for speed and position feedback. A dedicate servo controller is required to use the servo motor effectively. MAC servo motors can be used with Bosch controllers from the DSC, KDS and TDM series. These motors are well suited to applications involving machine tools, textile machines, printing presses, packaging machinery, robotics, and handling equipment. MAC motors are permanent magnet-excited motors that use electronic commutation technology. The permanent magnets of the rotor are made with materials which make it possible to develop motors with extremely low inertia. Some of the benefits of low inertia are fast response times and energy efficiency. MAC093B-0-JS-3-C/130-A-0 is a Bosch motor from the MAC093 series. It is available in an IP65 rated housing.
The surface of the motor housing is covered by a black prime coat that provides protection from contaminants and other chemicals. A paint layer, not exceeding 40 micrometer thickness, can be applied on top of the prime coat.
