Rexroth Indramat specializes in manufacturing a class of servo motors that offer a wide range of encoding capabilities, including AC servo motors. Motor encoders monitor motor speed or position and send viable information as signals to a separate controller to initiate parameter adjustment during operation. The MAC AC servo motor series offers several products that are capable of providing extended encoder and feedback capabilities. One such example of a MAC AC motor model that has Tacho feedback and a second shaft for the encoding function is the MAC093A-2-HS-3-C/110-A-0/S001.
During its rated operation, the MAC093A-2-HS-3-C/110-A-0/S001 runs at a speed of 6000 rev/min. Its Tacho generator uses a voltage constant of 1.5 V/1000 rpm since the base speed of the MAC093A-2-HS-3-C/110-A-0/S001 exceeds 3000 rpm. During standstill/locked-rotor conditions, the motor draws a current of 34.0 amperes and reaches a torque of 9.8 Nm. Whenever loads are attached to the motor shaft, the motor experiences axial and/or radial forces. At the nominal speed, the maximum radial force of the MAC093A-2-HS-3-C/110-A-0/S001 is 790 N, while the maximum axial force is 270 N.
