MAC092B-0-QD-4-C/095-L-0/WA608XX is one among many in the line of AC servo motors constructed in conjunction with TDM KDS and DSC drive controllers by the Bosch manufacturing group. It is a rapid response servo motor with a size of 092 and it comes in a length of B. The unit suitable for use in machine tools, printing presses, textile machines, robotics, packaging machinery, handling equipments and transfer facilities. It is a part of the AC servo motors classified as permanent excited servo motors constructed with electronic commutation. The permanent magnet of the rotor consist of materials which makes it possible to design motors with low inertia.
Like the others in the MAC AC servo motor series, the MAC092B-0-QD-4-C/095-L-0/WA608XX has a motor feedback known as the tacho feedback. This feedback allows for rotor position recognition and speed evaluation per tachgenerator. The unit has the tacho feedback integrated into the motor. In addition to the presence of a tacho feedback, the unit has an incremental encoder. It also comes with a standard tacho type. The power is connected to the left (looking into output shaft). The motor comes without a holding brake.
The servo motor falls into protection class IP65 which ensures its protection from damage by penetration of water and extrinsic objects. The unit is likewise protected from dust particles and contact with motor parts whether moving or alive. It also possesses a housing coat which is painted with a black prime coat. Additionally, an extra layer of paint can be added to cover this prime coat. However the thickness of the coat should not exceed 40um. The motor comes a one year warranty period.
