MAC090C-1-KD-3-C/110-A-1/S001 is a MAC series AC servo motor. Its manufacturer is Bosch Rexroth. In conjunction with TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers, MAC servo motors form rapid-response servo drive system. They are especially well suited for use in applications such as textile machines, packaging machinery, robotics, handling equipment and transfer facilities. MAC AC servo motors are made with permanent magnets and support electronic commutation. The permanent magnets are made with materials that make it feasible to manufacture motors with very low inertia. MAC AC servo motors support tacho feedback. They can also be equipped with a mounted encoder for position evaluation. For position evaluation on the motor, the motor can also be equipped with a second shaft end to mount the customer’s encoders or an incremental encoder. The MAC090C-1-KD-3-C/110-A-1/S001 motor has a speed rating of 2000 RPM.
It supports tacho feedback via a standard tacho generator and is also equipped with a standard blocking brake. Temperature sensors installed on the motor winding help to prevent damage caused by overheating due to overload events. As per the product manual, the ambient air temperature must be kept between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius. Bosch has provided an axial blower on the motor to help ensure that ambient temperatures remain within limits. This blower requires 230 Volts AC external power. Operators can also order radial cooling fans for MAC motors. Bosch provides two options for MAC090C series servo motor centering diameter: 110 and 130 millimeters. Centering diameter of the MAC090C-1-KD-3-C/110-A-1/S001 motor is 110 millimeters. Operators can select from among four options for the power plug location. The plug on the MAC090C-1-KD-3-C/110-A-1/S001 motor is on side A of the enclosed motor housing.
