MAC090C-1-KD-1-B/110-A-1/DI00625/S001 is a Bosch MAC series servo motor. It is designed for industrial use. Typical applications of MAC motors include machine tools, robotics, printing presses and handling equipment. Permanent magnets are used for MAC motor construction. Their use allows manufacture of motor with low inertia. MAC motors support tacho feedback for speed measurement and use a separate encoder for position measurement. Either an incremental or an absolute encoder can be used to measure motor position. Tacho feedback is a standard feature on all MAC motors where as the addition encoder is an optional item. Operators can use MAC motors without maintenance: this is enabled by the brushless motor design and use of bearings that do not require lubrication. A temperature sensor monitors the motor windings and stator housing and helps to protect the motor form overload damage.
MAC090C-1-KD-1-B/110-A-1/DI00625/S001 is a motor with several advanced features that include a standard blocking brake. Holding torque rating of the brake is 6.5 Nm. The brake protects personnel and equipment by preventing accidental shaft rotation. The brake is designed for electrical-release i.e. it releases the motor shaft only after application of an electrical release signal. The motor gets power through a power cable that connects to a power plug on side A of the motor housing. Operators can specify different locations for the power plug to satisfy differing requirements. An axial cooling fan is installed on the motor and it allows better cooling compared to convection cooling. The fan requires 230 Volts AC external power. Housing of the motor is completed enclosed and complies with IP65 protection rating. The housing is dust proof and safe from low-pressure jets of water.
