MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-2/WI533LX/S018 is a servo motor with a wide range of standard features. It is manufactured by Bosch and is part of the MAC AC servo motor series. Standard features for all MAC motors include IP65 rated housing, support for tacho and encoder feedback, and support for multiple cooling methods. Optional features for MAC motors include blocking brakes, shaft with keyway and shaft seal. The MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-2/WI533LX/S018 is a motor with an axial cooling fan that requires 230 Volts AC input. Other options for MAC motor cooling include convection cooling and surface cooing with radial cooling fans. The motor is also equipped with a 14 Nm rated heavy duty blocking brake. A standard blocking brake rated for 6.5 Nm is also available for MAC090C motors. The motor is equipped with a standard tacho generator for speed evaluation.
For position evaluation, the motor can also be equipped with a second shaft end to mount the customer’s encoders, an incremental encoder, or an absolute encoder. Centering dimeter of the motor is 110 millimeters. The length of the motor housing is 485 millimeters. Diameter of the motor shaft is 24 millimeters. The size of the motor flange is 140 millimeters and the diameter of the mounting holes on the flange is 11 millimeters. To mount the motor, operators must align holes on the motor flange with holes on the mounting surface and then secure the motor to the mounting surface with screws. Both the motor power connector and the tacho feedback connector must be ordered separately. The output direction of the electrical power connector is selected at the time of ordering. There are four possible output directions. Power connector on this motor is towards side A of the housing.
