MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-2/WA605XX/S013 is a servo motor. It supports tacho feedback, which helps to improve system performance and accuracy. Tacho feedback is used to provide feedback about motor speed. A tacho generator installed on the motor measures motor speed. The motor sends this information to an attached drive controller. Based on a comparison between feedback from the motor and programmed speed value, the controller adjusts its output to bring motor speed in-line with the desired value. The MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-2/WA605XX/S013 is also equipped with another type of sensor, which is known as an encoder. The function of this sensor is to measure motor position. Both types of motor feedback – speed and position – are sent to the controller, which uses them to adjust its output and ensure motor speed and position comply with desired values. This process, known as closed loop feedback, continues as long as the control system is in operation.
Speed rating of the MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-2/WA605XX/S013 motor is 3000 RPM. Its torque and current output at standstill are 16 Nm and 41 Amps respectively. These values are valid for environmental conditions specified in the manual, including 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature and 0 to 1000 meters elevation.
