The MAC090C-0-KD-4-C/130-A-0/S003 is a model of the Bosch Rexroth MAC AC servo motors with lifetime-lubricated bearings. Such bearings enable the motor’s maintenance-free operation and improve its operational reliability because they are consistently lubricated. This prevents premature wear and failure of the bearings, eliminating the need for replacement and repairs and leading to a longer service life. With the thermo switches in the windings of the MAC motor, users can monitor its temperature to avoid permanent damage caused by thermal overload. The heat generated during its operation is eliminated via natural convection, a cost-effective cooling method that relies on temperature differences to facilitate heat transfer.
Designed to reach a nominal speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute, the MAC090C-0-KD-4-C/130-A-0/S003 can accommodate a maximum current of 125A. It is equipped with a rotor with a moment of inertia of 53 x 10-4 kgm2. This rotor has permanent magnets with lightweight rare-earth materials that contribute to the motor’s low inertia.
