Product Description:

MAC090B-1-JD-4-C/110-A-1/WI517LV/S001 is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor. It belongs to the MAC product line. As per the product documentation, the motor model is 090 and the motor length is B. The motor is equipped with an axial cooling fan and supports surface cooling. The major benefit of surface cooling is that, despite slightly higher capital and operating expenditures, it enables motors to operate at higher levels of output current and torque. With convection cooling the motor torque output is 6.7 Nm, while with surface cooling the torque output is 10.5 Nm. With convection cooling the motor current output is 18.2 Amps, while with surface cooling the current output is 28.5 Amps. Nominal speed rating of the motor is 3000 RPM and its rotor’s moment of inertia is 0.0036 kg m2.

As per the product documentation, the permissible temperature range for motor operation is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. Unused MAC090 motors requires -20 to 80 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. The installation elevation should be between 0 and 1000 meters above mean sea level. Insulation classification of the motor is F. Its protection rating is IP65. Housing of the motor is protected by a prime black coat (RAL 9005). An optional blocking brake installed on the motor provides 6.5 Nm of holding torque. This brake operates at 24 Volts DC and draws 0.7 Amps during operation. Release delay and clamping delay for the brake are 60 milliseconds and 20 milliseconds respectively. MAC motors support tacho feedback via an integrated tacho generator. In addition, an encoder can be used for accurate position evaluation. The location of the power plug is on side A of the motor housing.
