MAC090B-0-PD-5-C/110-A-0/KI520LV is a MAC motor from Bosch Rexroth. It is a servo motor with integrated tacho generator and an incremental or absolute encoder. Therefore it must be deployed with a compatible servo controller. According to the product documentation, MAC motors work with controllers from the TDM, DSC and KDS product lines. Servo systems with MAC motors and compatible controllers can be deployed for applications that include textile machines, robotics, transfer facilities and handling equipment. MAC motors feature electronic commutation i.e. have a brushless design. This in combination with life-time lubricated bearings make MAC motors maintenance-free. Therefore using MAC motors for industrial use makes them cost-effective. In addition, an IP65 rated housing allows operators the flexibility to use these motors in a range of operating environments. MAC motors can be used directly within the working area of the machine even under poor environmental conditions.
Motor temperature is monitored by thermo switches integrated into the motor windings and stator housing. The motors are designed to trip at high temperatures, which prevents overload damage. MAC090B-0-PD-5-C/110-A-0/KI520LV is motor with 2000 RPM nominal speed rating, a plain shaft, standard tacho generator, 110 millimeters centering diameter, and power plug on side A. Operators can order shaft with keyways and well as a shaft seal. Operators can order MAC motors with a different power plug location, as well as with an optional blocking brake.
