Product Description:
MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/130-B-1/WI534LX/S003 is a digital servo motor from Bosch Rexroth’s MAC product line. Bosch has designed these motors for use with motor controllers from the DSC, KDS and TDM product lines. MAC motors are well suited to industrial and commercial applications such as packaging machinery, printing presses and textile machines. They are made with permanent magnets and support electronic commutation. Common components of each servo motor include a laminated core with magnets, rotor shaft, tacho generator, windings, and optional blocking brake. Tacho feedback provides accurate speed and position evaluation. MAC motors can also be equipped with a mounted encoder for position evaluation. Major benefits of MAC motors include brushless design and life-time lubricated bearings leading to maintenance-free operation. A totally enclosed IP65 rated housing allows motor use under poor environmental conditions.
MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/130-B-1/WI534LX/S003 is a motor with a plain shaft that does not include a seal. Speed rating of the servo motor is 2000 RPM. The motor has a special centering diameter of 130 millimeters. A blocking brake is installed on the motor. Holding torque of this brake is 6.5 Nm. The motor supports natural convection and requires proper ventilation for good heat dissipation. Failure to provide adequate cooling leads to output derating, and under extreme temperature conditions, the motor can malfunction or fail. Bosch recommends ambient temperature between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius. Proper installation has a major impact on motor operation. Trained professionals should undertake motor installation and operation. Encoder and load cables should be routed separately to prevent electromagnetic interference. If routed parallel to each other, the encoder and motor cables should be separated by 100 millimeters and a metallic partition should also be used.
