MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/130-B-1/WA605XX/S011 is a high-performance servo motor. It is designed by Bosch Rexroth for commercial/industrial use. The motor comes with a standard blocking brake. This brake acts as a safety device: it prevents unintentional shaft rotation, and in doing so, prevents damage and injury to personnel. Holding torque rating of the brake is 6.5 Nm. Nominal voltage rating of the brake is 24 Volts DC. Current draw of the holding brake is 0.7 Amps. The release delay is 60 milliseconds and the clamping delay is 20 milliseconds. Weight of the blocking brake is 0.5 kilograms. Operators can also order a heavy-duty blocking brake for MAC090 motors with 14 Nm holding torque. MAC motors support tacho feedback for speed and position evaluation. They can also be equipped with an incremental or absolute encoder for position feedback.
The motor sends feedback to a motor controller via a feedback cable. In addition to controlling motor speed and position, the controller provides power for the motor. This power arrives via a dedicated power cable. Connector for both these cable need to be procured separately.
