MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/130-B-0/WA605XX/S011 is a MAC series motor from Bosch Rexroth. It is specially designed and optimized for industrial applications. The motor’s frame size is 090 and its frame length code is B. Bosch has designed the motor for convection cooling. While this is a low-cost cooling option, it does not provide the level of cooling provided by other methods, such as surface cooling, that enable higher output current and torque. The rated output torque at standstill is 7.2 Nm. The rated output current at standstill is 11.9 Amps. Speed rating of the motor is 2000 RPM. The thermal time constant is another specification that depends on the cooling method: it is 60 minutes for this motor. Mass of the servo motor is approximately 18 kilograms. This feature of the motor housing enables operation is a wide variety of environments. For rated output the ambient temperature must be kept between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius. Unused MAC servo motors require -20 to 80 degrees Celsius storage temperature. For operation with rated values the installation elevation should not exceed 1000 meters. The housing is painted with a black prime coat. Trained technical personnel should inspect the motor at delivery to ensure it is not damaged. Only trained personnel should operate the motor.
