Product Description:
The MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/110-B-1 is a high-performance AC motor designed to rapidly and efficiently to control command signals when used with either the TDM, KDS, or the DSC Rexroth drive controller series. The controller is designed by well-trained engineers of Bosch Rexroth Indramat, it meets international quality standards and can be used in harsh environment without any reduction in operation efficiency. The motor falls under the IP65 protection class, and is particularly suited for various industrial and commercial machines such as machine tools, transfer facilities, packaging machinery and robotic machines. The motor protects itself from overtemperature damage by efficiently transmitting heat from its winding to its housing where it can be easily dissipated by natural convection. The rotor of the MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/110-B-1 servo motor contains magnets made from rare materials, these magnets help the motor to maintain a low operation inertial.
The MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/110-B-1 contains a holding brake that holds any load connected to the motor?s output shaft when the motor is not in operation. This holding brake operates according to the electrically releasing principle. The rotational speed of the motor rotor under normal conditions is 2000 revolutions per minute, the motor can also produce an output torque as high as 7.2 newton meters
The MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/110-B-1 motor has a brushless design and life-time lubricated ball bearings that eliminates the need for maintenance operation. An electrically releasing holding brake is integrated into the motor housing, the brake relates the load connected to the motor shaft when the motor is at a standstill. The permissible ambient temperature for the operation of the motor is between 0 to about 45 degrees while the maximum installation height is 1000 meters above sea level.
Frequently Asked Questions about MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/110-B-1:
Q: Can a steam cleaner be used on the MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/110-B-1 motor?
A: Cleaning the motor with a steam cleaner is not reccomended as it can peak the coating covering the motor housing.
Q: Can the MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/110-B-1 motor be installed upside down?
A: Yes. The motor can be mounted in any orientation without problems.
Q: Can operates modify the motor to meet specific applications?
A: No. The physical modification of the motor is not allowed. Any attempt to do this will void the cerifications covering the motor.
Q: Can the motor shaft support a high load?
A: Yes. The output shaft is intended to support a high radial load. They also feature a shaft sealing ring.
Q: What does the holding brake integrated into the MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/110-B-1 motor do?
A: The holding brake is a safety feature. It helps to retain the load connected to the motor's output shaft when it is at a standstill.
