Product Description:

The MAC Series by Rexroth Bosch includes the MAC090B-0-ND-4-C/110-B-1/WA612XX/S005 servo motor and is used where a high degree of accuracy is needed. Its mechanical construction involves natural cooling based on the principle of convection. The motor is named B for its length and has a blocking brake for stopping securely. Another feature of the motor is tacho feedback, supplied together with the incremental or absolute encoder for precise position and speed sensing.

The motor's power connection is on side B for wiring and connection to other components. Coils of wire, known as windings, are other essential parts of an electric motor. They comprise an association of loops of wire wound around a core. Windings also serve a crucial function in creating the magnetic fields that enable the motor to operate. Windings produce a magnetic field whenever the electric current passes through them. This field engages with the rotor, thus converting electrical power into mechanical operation in the motor. The strength and design of the windings have a very close relationship to the torque output of an engine.

The precision of the windings is essential since it affects the motor's ability to produce the desired levels of torque and is also suitable for the motor. More specifically, the design of the winding can reduce the concentration of temperature, which is central to the effectiveness of motor operation, and minimize the possible heating up of the motor. Correct design improves the motor's performance when supplied with control signals to move and position itself correctly. The windings in the servo motor play a vital role in conserving torque, heat dissipation, and even position regulation.
