MAC motor provide high overload capacity because heat is dissipated from stator windings directly to the outside wall of the AC motor housing. It is possible to install MAC motors any orientation. A motor flange with throughholes makes possible mounting as per design IM B5 or design IM B14. The output shaft on MAC motors is available in two different designs. Plain motor shafts are available for a non-positive shaft-hub connection. Shafts with keyways are available for form-fitting connections. MAC090 series servo motors are available with special windings. This design achieves very smooth run, and motor with this design perform extremely well in applications such as precision lathes and grinding machines. The power and feedback cables connect directly to corresponding flanged sockets on the motor housing. Connectors for these cables must be ordered separately.
