The MAC090A-0-RD-3-C/110-B-1/S010 from Rexroth is a 3.5 Nm AC servo motor which consumes current of up to 11.4 Amperes when used in standstill conditions. This motor can provide a rotational inertia of 20 x 10-4 kgm2 needed to spin a mass connected to its shaft. Talking about the shaft this particular model features a double shaft end which is accessible from both the front and rear of the motor. The front shaft allows the motor to spin a component while the rear end of the shaft allows users to attach a feedback encoder of their choice.
