MAC090A-0-RD-2-C/110-B-1 is MAC series servo motor from Bosch Rexroth. The motor is designed for industrial applications. It has an IP65 rated housing. The housing is dustproof and safe from water coming from low-pressure jets. MAC motors are servo motors designed with feedback. Depending on requirements, MAC motors can be equipped with tacho feedback or encoder feedback. The MAC090A-0-RD-2-C/110-B-1 motor supports tacho feedback and is equipped with a standard tacho generator. Nominal speed rating of the motor is 3000 RPM. The continuous torque at standstill is 3.5 Nm with convection cooling and 5 Nm with surface cooling. The continuous current at standstill is 11.4 Amps with convection cooling and 16.3 Amps with surface cooling. Surface cooling, which uses forced air produced by a cooling fan, allows higher torque an current output. The thermal time constant is 45 minutes with convection cooling and 30 minutes with surface cooling. Weight of the motor is 12.5 kilograms. It is equipped with a standard holding brake. Holding torque of the brake is 6.5 Nm. The nominal current draw is 0.7 Amps at 24 Volts DC. Release delay of the brake is 60 milliseconds and the clamping delay is 20 milliseconds.
